Searchable transcripts
Every clip is transcribed on paid plans, so you can search a cohort’s answers for a concept or a name.
Weekly reflections for a 90-student module
Course lead, business school
- The problem
- Written reflections were arriving late, thin and hard to tell apart. Marking them took most of a day each week.
- What they did
- A reflection campaign per week, link in the LMS. Students had 90 seconds to explain the week’s concept and ask one question.
- What happened
- Submission rate went from 60% to 92%. The questions students asked shaped the next lecture, and reviewing took under two hours.
Real moments from real teams.
From the warehouse to the ward and the shop floor, anyone can record in about a minute.
What educators say.
Weekly video reflections went from a chore to the most useful thing I read. The questions students ask shape the next lecture.
Our leavers’ video had every teacher in it, recorded in a spare five minutes. The parents asked for a copy.
End-of-course feedback with a rating and a minute of video tells us far more than the form, and more people fill it in.
Free for a class. Pro for a course. Team for a department.
Students never need an account or a payment. You choose the plan that fits the number of classes.
Enterprise
For schools, universities and academies with safeguarding and procurement needs.
- Single sign-on for staff
- DPA, security review and retention set to your policy
- LMS integration via API and webhooks
- A dedicated account manager and SLA
Questions from educators.
Do students need accounts?
No. Paste the link into your LMS, class channel or a slide. Students open it on any device and record. You can ask for a name or an email so submissions are easy to match.
Is it suitable for under-18s?
Recording is consent-based and every campaign is private to your account. Check your institution’s policy on video of minors; many schools use it for staff-to-student messages and for pupils with parental consent.
Can I review submissions by class or cohort?
Yes. One campaign per class or week keeps submissions grouped. Search transcripts on Pro, and download a whole campaign as a zip.
Does it work with Moodle, Canvas or Google Classroom?
Anything that can show a link works. There is no plugin to install; the recording page opens inside the browser students already have.
How long are student videos kept?
Thirty days on Starter and ninety on Pro, with longer options on Team. Download what you need to keep, and delete a campaign whenever the term ends.
