Downloading and sharing your reel

Updated October 8, 2026

Downloading

Once your reel shows Ready, a Download MP4 link appears under the video on the Reels tab of the campaign. It saves as a standard MP4 file that plays anywhere — phones, laptops, presentation software, you name it. To download individual responses instead, select them on the Responses tab and use Download (Starter can use Email ZIP); the file is prepared in the background and emailed to you as a link that works for 24 hours.

Sharing without downloading first

Every generated reel also gets its own public link, so you can send it straight to someone, or post it, without attaching a video file at all. Click Copy public link under the reel, and Edit link if you want a memorable ending made of lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Anyone with the link can watch the reel, and if Allow replies on reel links is on, they can record a reply that lands in your Responses. A link is usually the easiest option for email or chat, since large video attachments often get blocked or compressed.

A few places reels work well

  • Played at the event or meeting itself, straight from the public link
  • Sent directly to the person it’s for
  • Posted to a team channel or social feed
  • Linked from a webpage — see Embedding on your website for what the Share tab’s embed code does

The reel stays yours

A downloaded reel is a plain MP4 file, yours to keep, re-upload, or re-edit elsewhere, and it plays without Whoosh. Reels made on Starter carry a Whoosh watermark; on other plans there is none unless you add your own under Look & feel (Expert).
