Reviewing and moderating submissions

- 1
Open your campaign from the dashboard and go to the Responses tab — videos appear here as they come in.
- 2
Watch each clip. Delete any that aren’t a fit with the bin icon (they move to Trash for 30 days), or just leave them out when you pick clips for a reel. With Hold flagged clips for review on (Pro and above), clips the content check flags wait for you to Approve or Reject them.
- 3
Click Select, tick the clips you want, and click Make a reel (or Add to reel for one you already have). On the Reels tab, drag clips, or use the move up and down arrows, into the order you want, or click Smart order.
- 4
Once you’re happy with the lineup, click Generate on the reel — see How your reel gets compiled.
You’re always in control
A reel only contains the clips you put in it, either by picking them yourself or with Auto-create, which chooses from your responses for you. You can come back and reorder, add or remove clips at any point, then regenerate as many times as you like. There’s no "publish once" moment that locks you in.
Dealing with a clip that isn’t usable
If a submission has poor audio, an inappropriate comment, or is just clearly a test clip, leave it out of your reels or delete it. Deleted responses go to Trash (a button on the dashboard home) and can be restored for 30 days. The contributor isn’t notified either way. Videos you record yourself from the Preview tab count as real responses, so delete your own test clips the same way.
Moderation as a safety net, not a gate
Only you can see responses in the dashboard, and nothing is public until you generate a reel or copy a public link. On Pro and above, Hold flagged clips for review (under Settings → Advanced) adds a check: clips the automated content check flags wait in a Held for review panel at the top of Responses, and they don’t count, appear in reels or trigger webhooks until you click Approve. Reject keeps a clip out, and you can still find it under the Rejected filter.
