Closing, reopening, and deleting a campaign
Updated October 8, 2026
What a schedule does
On Expert, Settings → Share → Schedule lets you set Active from and Active until. Outside those dates the link stops accepting recordings and shows a "Campaign not active" page, and the campaign is marked Closed or Opens with the date in your dashboard. This is useful for anything time-bound, like a surprise departure or an event happening on a fixed date.
Campaigns without a schedule
If you don’t set one (the only option on Starter and Pro), the campaign stays open until you delete it. This suits ongoing use cases — a standing "new hire welcome" campaign you reuse every time someone joins, or a customer-testimonial campaign you leave open indefinitely and dip into whenever you need fresh quotes.
Reopening a closed campaign
Passed your end date but want a few more submissions? Open the campaign from your dashboard, change or clear Active until in Settings → Share → Schedule (Clear — keep it always open removes the schedule), then click Save. It starts accepting new recordings again at the same link, so you never need to send contributors a new URL.
Deleting a campaign
There’s no archive, so a campaign you’re done with can simply stay in your list with its responses and reels. If you delete it, its link stops working at once and it moves to Trash (a button on the dashboard home), where you can restore it for 30 days before it is permanently removed. See Data retention and deletion for how long videos are kept.
