A submission is missing from my reel
Updated October 8, 2026
Check it was in the reel when you generated it
A reel only includes the clips listed under Clip order when you clicked Generate or Regenerate, and a clip that arrived later isn’t added automatically. Open the reel on the Reels tab of your dashboard, click Add clips to include it, then Regenerate. Clips held for review or rejected are never included, so also check the Held for review panel and the Rejected filter on the Responses tab.
Check it actually finished uploading
A submission that failed partway through an upload won’t appear as a complete entry in your dashboard at all. Ask the contributor to try recording again — see My video won’t upload if it keeps failing.
Re-compiling adds it in
Once a clip is in the reel’s clip list, regenerating includes it. Copies you’ve already downloaded aren’t affected; the new version replaces the video behind the reel’s public link. A clip older than your plan’s retention period may have moved to quarantine, and then it can’t be added — see Data retention and deletion.
